Coffee makes the world go round. At least, we think it does. Almost everyone enjoys a good cup of coffee, and while you can make it at home, going out for a coffee seems far more fun. In Fort Smith, AR, we’ve put together this list of our favorite coffee shops. We know you’ll enjoy them as much as we do.
Fort Smith Coffee Co
Since they opened in 2017, Fort Smith has been wowing locals and visitors alike with their fine selection of coffees and excellent service. The shop is located inside what was once the Deep Rock Oil and Gas Filling Station. Their industrial-style inside-outside concept, together with the attractive art on the walls, has made this shop a hit with the trendy artistic crowd. Service is fast and friendly. The music played is light 1980s, which is pleasant and easy on the ears.
They use organic, fair-trade coffee that’s been freshly roasted to give you that delicious taste and flavor. They offer all the espresso drinks, together with French press, Chemex, and batch brewed. Fort Smith also makes their syrups, which can turn a great coffee into a perfect coffee. There’s also the option for an iced coffee, a frozen coffee, or a nitro cold brew. We love their white chocolate mocha. You can find their store at 1101 Rogers Avenue, and they’re open from 6 am to 10 pm daily.
Chapters On Main
Chapters was established in 2016 and pair two wonderful things great coffee and interesting books. The shop was once just an old, unappreciated bookstore, but it’s now turned into one of the most exciting places in town. Whether you’re on a date, meeting friends, or just looking for a quiet place for coffee and a good book, you can find your special space right here. They’re also multiple award winners of best bookstore in Arkansas.
They use Onyx coffee for its smooth flavors and high quality. We like the black salted mocha, and that we can get is in 12oz, 16oz, or 20oz. It hits the spot. They also offer macchiato, lattes,and cappuccinos. You can also buy bulk coffee, all sealed and ready to go. Chapters is located at 816 Main Street, Van Buren, and they’re open
Sweet Bay Coffee Company
Sweet Bay is locally owned and operated, and was founded in 1996. Locals and visitors liked their coffee so much they’ve expanded and now have four branches in Fort Smith. Their success is due to their fresh roasted coffee, finely blended syrups, and great customer service. When you walk into a coffee shop and you’re greeted by someone with a bright smile, your day just seems to get better. This friendly service has made Sweet Bay a hit.
Coffee-wise, you can choose from coffees, lattes, mocha, and espressos. Sweet Bay is open from 7 am daily.
