2025 Chevrolet Silverado HD

The Silverado HD comes in the 2500 and the 3500. The lineup starts with the WT. It has 17-inch wheels, black bumpers and exterior trim, a locking tailgate, and trailering mirrors. The Custom adds 20-inch wheels and power-adjustable trailering mirrors, while the LT has chrome bumpers, an EZ lift tailgate, and 17-inch alloy wheels. The higher-end LTZ comes with 18-inch wheels, chrome exterior trim, LED headlights, and fog lights, and it has power-folding and auto-dimming trailering mirrors. Choose the High Country for 20-inch wheels, body-colored bumpers, chrome side-assist steps, LED lighting in the bed, a spray-in bedliner, and a power-sliding rear window.

The standard engine for the Silverado HD is a 6.6-liter V-8 gas engine with 401 horsepower that works with a six-speed automatic transmission. A 6.6-liter turbo diesel V-8 is optional and gets you 445 horsepower and 910 pound-feet of torque. This engine works with a 10-speed automatic transmission.

Rear-wheel drive comes standard with all Silverado HD models, with four-wheel drive optional. The 3500 HD can tow up to 36,000 pounds when equipped with the diesel engine, gooseneck hitch, and the trailering package. It can also haul up to 7,442 pounds of payload.

Inside, the Silverado HD has room for up to six people, depending on the cab. The WT has just the basics, including vinyl upholstery, rear seat air vents, and manual door locks. The Custom adds power windows and locks and cloth upholstery, while a step up to the LTZ gets you leather upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate control, power-adjustable front seats, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. The technology features in the Silverado HD start with a 7-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto in the WT. Bumping up to the LT upgrades to an 8-inch touchscreen and adds satellite radio, Chevrolet Connected Services with a Wi-Fi hotspot, and a larger information display in front of the driver. The LTZ has two 120-volt power outlets, a wireless version of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and an upgraded touchscreen.

Every 2023 Silverado HD comes standard with electronic traction and stability control, a rearview camera, anti-lock brakes, and a rear seat reminder. Chevy offers several driver aids as options for most trim levels. These include lane-departure warning, a head-up display, automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, and a trailering camera system with multiple camera views on the touchscreen to make towing safer. The Safety Package for the LT and LTZ adds a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert, and the Safety Package II for the LTZ and High Country comes with automatic high beam headlights and lane-departure warning.
