Your Tahoe includes the advanced Chevy infotainment system that gives you access to a huge range of digital content, from entertainment to safety and security. Additionally, it allows you to link your phone to the system via an app, providing remote access to many of your Chevy’s systems. As your Chevy dealer, we want to give you a closer look at OnStar and what it offers.

OnStar Connectivity
OnStar is a subscription-based connectivity system that enables you to access many of your infotainment system features. Every new Chevy Tahoe includes a complimentary trial that can be easily extended when it runs out. While the trial is active, you enjoy access to all the facilities and services provided by the Premium Vehicle Plan, as we’ll see below.
When you renew your subscription, you have two plan options available, or you can choose specific services if you don’t need a complete package. We’ll look closer at each plan and see what it offers.
Connected Vehicle Plan
This option gives you access to a WiFi hotspot with unlimited in-vehicle data and up to seven connections. You can download and use a wide range of in-vehicle apps that provide information on the weather, music, audiobooks, and more. Finally, you can access remote services for your vehicle through the free downloadable Chevrolet app.
Premium Vehicle Plan
This plan provides everything in the plan above, adding emergency services access that provides 24/7/365 support from dedicated personnel who can help you if you encounter a problem on the road. In addition, you can download and use the OnStar Guardian app, which provides access to numerous safety services that can be accessed in-vehicle or remotely.
Individual Services
You might not want either plan but would like remote access, unlimited in-vehicle data, or access to your Chevy’s Super Cruise function. Chevy has you covered, as you can select only the services you want at a reduced cost. The Remote Access service, for example, allows you to start or stop the engine, lock or unlock the doors, check tire pressure, fuel levels, and many other systems in your Chevy.
myChevrolet App
This app is available for download on iPhone or Android. Once the app is downloaded, you can sign up for a free account and pair your Chevrolet to the app using Bluetooth. Once pairing is complete, you can access all your phone’s content on your infotainment system, providing hands-free connectivity as you can access all its contents by voice command.
