Here you will find traditional Mexican cuisine in a cozy dining room with ambient lighting and colorful decor. The staff is very personable, and the service is excellent. Visit during lunchtime for their specials, which you can order for under $9. For dinner, you can mix and match to create your own dish, such as a burrito and salad, a burrito and enchilada, or a burrito and taco.
We also like their wide selection of soups and salads. Try their roasted poblano soup or the black bean soup along with a grilled vegetable salad. You can also choose from seafood, chicken, and steak dishes. They are located at 8909 Rogers Ave. and they are open every day of the week.
3. El Lorito
This authentic eatery has served the community since 1997 and continues to be a popular favorite among the locals. Their homemade salsa is a must to add to your meal. Check out their lunch specials, which run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday to Friday. We like the Speedy Gonzales, the fajitas, and the pollo loco dishes. Plus, the lunch specials start at just $5. Be sure to add a flan or sopapilla to finish off your meal.
